Tom Coughlin

Thomas M. Coughlin is the President and CEO of Five Rivers Bank. He is a strategic banking executive and CPA with over 40 years of experience in community banking, financial services, and internal audit.  

In 2000, he founded a community bank in New Jersey, raising $6 million in seed funding and growing the institution to $3.8 billion in assets across 29 branches. Over his career, Tom completed three bank acquisitions, led multiple capital raises, and pioneered compliance-driven banking in emerging financial sectors.  

As President and CEO of Five Rivers Bank, Tom leads the bank's overall strategy, operations, business development, and community engagement. Drawing on his experience as a founder and operator, Tom works closely with the bank's leadership team to deliver the speed, expertise, and personal attention that sets Five Rivers Bank apart.
